Help the Democrats Pass an "Unpopular" Bill!

So, basically the latest Republican talking point is that the passage of the current health care bill in the senate would cause voters to express their frustrations in November towards the democrats. If that were the case, why would Republicans try stopping this bill from passing? Wouldn't Republicans be doing everything they could to pass this "unpopular" bill? Republicans are slowing down passage of the bill for 3 reasons: 1. the bill is a bad bill and they believe they're doing the right thing for the American people, 2. the more they talk about how unpopular the bill is the more unpopular it becomes (a self-fulfilling prophecy), 3. this health care bill could be the most popular thing since white bread but if one day, after it passes, 1 person takes an extra 15 minutes at a doctor's office every single Republican member in congress can say in unison "I told you so!" To counter this blind opposition to the bill Democrats should counter every single point I just made and get this bill to pass. For each one here's what they'd have to do: 1. believe in themselves and know the bill is really in the best interest for every single person in the country (bending the cost curve, increasing the number of people who receive insurance, etc.), 2. for every poll saying how unpopular is there is another poll pointing out the exact opposite, Democrats need to find these polls and promote the shit out of them, 3. Democrats need to stand united so that one day when a person says they can buy insurance when before they were unable democrats will be able to stand united and say "we told you so!"
